Pier Wheel, explained
Pier Wheel is a striped, bulb-lit wheel at the end of an old pier, divided into 24 equal segments. Every spin comes to rest on one of them, and that segment returns its multiple of your stake in Glints, which have no money value.
Open Pier WheelA round, step by step
- Choose your stake with the − and + buttons.
- Press "Spin the wheel" (or Space).
- The wheel turns and slows to a stop under the pointer at the top.
- The segment under the pointer pays its multiple of the stake.
Segments on the wheel
| Segment | How many | Returns on a 100 stake |
|---|---|---|
| ×5 | 1 of 24 | 500 |
| ×3 | 1 of 24 | 300 |
| ×2 | 1 of 24 | 200 |
| ×1.5 | 3 of 24 | 150 |
| ×1.2 | 5 of 24 | 120 |
| ×0.5 | 5 of 24 | 50 |
| ×0 | 8 of 24 | Nothing back |
Worth knowing
- Every segment is the same size, so a segment that appears more often on the wheel comes up more often.
- The landing segment is chosen by the game's random number generator the moment you press spin; the animation only shows it arriving.
- The highest segment is ×5.
- Glints are play currency: they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged, and they have no money value.
- Outcomes are settled the instant you play, by the cryptographic random number generator built into your browser. Your level, your account and any earlier round have no bearing on them.
- Guests play in demo mode on practice credits, and nothing from a demo is saved. Once you have joined and logged in, the game uses your own Glints.
- Glints have no cash value; they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged. Should your balance run dry, a free top-up is always there.
