Observatory Roulette, explained
Observatory Roulette uses the single-zero wheel, 37 pockets numbered from 0 to 36. Put chips on the numbers or boxes where you expect the ball to settle, then spin. Chips and returns are counted in Glints, which have no money value.
Open Observatory RouletteA round, step by step
- Choose a chip value, then tap a number or a box on the table to place it. Tap again to add more.
- Right-click or long-press a spot to take a chip off it; Undo removes the last chip, Clear empties the table.
- Press Spin. The total of your chips is your stake for that spin.
- The ball settles in one pocket. Every bet that covers that number returns its chips plus what it pays.
- Your chips stay on the table, so you can spin again straight away, change them, or use Repeat last after clearing.
Bets and what they pay
| Bet | Covers | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Straight up | One number, 0 to 36 | 35 to 1 |
| Dozen | 1–12, 13–24 or 25–36 | 2 to 1 |
| Column (2 to 1) | One of the three long rows of 12 numbers | 2 to 1 |
| Red or Black | 18 numbers of that colour | 1 to 1 |
| Odd or Even | 18 odd or 18 even numbers | 1 to 1 |
| 1–18 or 19–36 | The low or the high half | 1 to 1 |
Worth knowing
- Zero is green. It is not red or black, odd or even, low or high, and it is not in any dozen or column, so only a straight-up bet on 0 returns when it lands.
- Every pocket is equally likely on every spin. Past numbers, shown in the recent strip, do not change what comes next.
- A bet that lands returns its own chips as well as what it pays: 10 on Red returns 20 when red comes up.
- The table limit is 20,000 Glints of chips per spin.
- Outcomes are settled the instant you play, by the cryptographic random number generator built into your browser. Your level, your account and any earlier round have no bearing on them.
- Guests play in demo mode on practice credits, and nothing from a demo is saved. Once you have joined and logged in, the game uses your own Glints.
- Glints have no cash value; they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged. Should your balance run dry, a free top-up is always there.
